Heather Mills has had a rubber leg fitted for her performances on 'Dancing with the Stars'.The former model - who lost her left leg below the knee in a motorcycle accident - has had the prosthetic limb specially made to give her more flexibility on the US TV dance contest. After performing the jive with her new leg, judge Bruno Tonioli told her:"One, two, three legs, I don't care how many - you did a fantastic job."Meanwhile, Heather broke down on a US radio show after being praised by a caller. The estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, who appeared as a guest on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM morning radio show, was reduced to tears after hearing the kind words. The listener, named Pat, said: "I'm ashamed that I had a judgment against you based on everything you read in the newspapers, that you were after his money, and, come on - everyone was down on Heather Mills."But you have won me over, and I can admit it, I had formed a bad opinion about you. I am embarrassed, actually. I would love to apologise. And America should apologise. People should apologise. You were wrongfully treated."Heather sobbed as she replied: "That makes me feel emotional. That's great."Heather added: "I could have gone down that path of lowering myself to everyone else's level and proven my innocence."All I did was fall in love with somebody madly, and give up my life for seven years. And then just to be vilified for it? I'm actually quite shocked. I've spent 14 years doing charity work."If I was a gold digger, I would be a very wealthy woman now. And I'm not."Labels: DANCING WITH THE STARS, DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, JAMES EDSTROM, PAUL MCCARTNEY

Heather Mills is set to accept almost 60 million cash and property divorce settlement from estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney. The former model has reportedly backtracked on her previous demands of $20,000 a day "just to get by". She is also said to have given up on her bid for sole custody of the couple's three-year-old daughter Beatrice. A source told Britain's News of the World newspaper: "It's amazing how quickly things have turned around. Heather has caved in on lots of things -including her money demands and the issue of sole custody. We now expect her to settle."Heather's stance has completely changed. Paul's legal team were worried she might have upped the stakes by threatening to leave England and take Beatrice with her. It could still take weeks to thrash out a deal but they're on the right path."The settlement is likely to include $50 million in cash and Paul's $8 million St John's Wood mansion in London. It is believed Paul, 64, has agreed to contribute $4 million towards Heather's security costs during the divorce proceedings. Despite apparently a settlement, Heather, 39, is allegedly planning to speakout about her four-year marriage to The Beatles legend. The source added: "Heather told me, 'I will not sign a gagging clause because I want people to know the truth.' "Leaked court documents from last year revealed Heather had claimed Paul was physically violent to her during their marriage. Her allegations included claims the musician had pushed her into a bath while she was pregnant and on another occasion stabbed her in the arm with a broken wine glass. Heather will take Beatrice to the US this week while she competes in TV show 'Dancing with the Stars'.Labels: BEATLES, HEATHER MILLS, JAMES EDSTROM, PAUL MCCARTNEY

Sir Paul McCartney is desperate to end his divorce battle with Heather Mills. The Beatles legend has spoken for the first time about his High Court battle with Heather, saying he wants the divorce to be finalised quickly.Paul said: "I'm hoping it'll soon be over."The 64-year-old musician insists last week's two-fingered 'victory' sign outside the court house wasn't a sign the case is going his way. Paul said: "I always do that. But that's what it's all about - peace on earth."Paul and Heather, 39, attended a private hearing last week which reportedly examined Heather's claims that Paul was physically violent towards her during their four-year marriage. The former model emerged grim faced from the London court, sparking reports her claims had been thrown out. Meanwhile, Heather returned to court yesterday for an emergency application reportedly involving the couple's three-year-old daughter Beatrice. She represented herself during the 30-minute hearing, but refused to reveal what was discussed. As she left the court, Heather snapped: "I have nothing to say. I do not talk to the press. I never have and never will."When she was pressed to comment on the emergency hearing, Heather fumed:"Are you hard of hearing? You have got ears haven't you? I have nothing to say."Labels: DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, JAMES EDSTROM, PAUL MCCARTNEY, SNAPS AT PRESS

Heather Mills' accusations of marital abuse were dismissed in court the other day. Heather and Sir Paul McCartney appeared at London's High Court to determine if Heather's allegations regarding Paul's aggressive behaviour could be used in the divorce battle. Last year, leaked legal papers revealed Heather had accused Paul of pushing her into a bath while pregnant, trying to choke her in 2003, pouring wine over her and stabbing her in the arm with a broken wine glass. She also claimed Paul drank and took drugs excessively during their marriage. The 64-year-old Beatles legend has always denied the allegations. Heather, 39, was seen storming from the court after a judge threw out many of the claims, while a smiling Paul emerged 20 minutes later. When asked if he had anything to say about the hearing, he said: "No, but nice of you to ask. Thank you."Heather, who is said to have rejected a $50 million offer from Paul last month, was accompanied by her solicitor Anthony Julius. The pair, who did not speak throughout the hearing, were not required to give evidence. It is not known if the custody of the couple's three-year-old daughter Beatrice was discussed at the hearing.Labels: COURT, DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, JAMES EDSTROM, PAUL MCCARTNEY

Heather Mills was devastated when animal rights group PETA dumped her without telling her.The former model was dropped by PETA earlier this month when Mary McCartney (left), the photographer daughter of Heather's estranged husband Sir Paul, threatened to stop working with them. Heather only found out about their decision when a friend told her. She said in an interview with US TV show 'Extra' : "My girlfriend called me,that's how I first heard, and said, 'I'm really, really sorry to hear the bad news.'"I was just shocked. I thought, 'Oh, God, what is this?' I felt really, really sad about it. They didn't send me a letter or call me up saying, 'We don't wish to work with you anymore.' "Mary told the organisation she would only continue working on their 'I would rather go naked that wear fur campaign' if they severed their ties with her estranged step-mother. A source said: "Mary was eager to take photographs for PETA, which she has done in the past, but wanted assurances that Heather no longer represented the group."Before Heather's split from Paul last year, the blonde regularly worked for PETA, protesting against Canadian seal culling and the fur trade. Heather, 39, even stripped off for PETA's 2007 calendar, but the photographs were dropped after her bitter divorce battle began.Labels: DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, MARY MCCARTNEY, PETA

Heather Mills has visited police to speak about "a number of issues". Heather, the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, is thought to have discussed harassment and death threats at Brighton's Hove police the other day. A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "It was a pre-planned meeting for her to discuss a number of issues. The meeting did not relate to anything specific and she was not arrested."Heather's representative Phil Hall confirmed she has been in constant talks with police over death threats received since separating from Paul, 64. Hall said: "She doesn't want to talk about it. She has been subject to death threats and there has been on going communication with Sussex Police about that. I imagine it's to do with that."Heather was accompanied by her personal trainer Ben Amigoni and her sister Fiona. Last month, Fiona made an appeal to end the "harassment" of her family and said she was "deeply concerned" for her sister's safety following "scary"death threats. In December, Heather, 38, revealed she feared for the safety of herself and her three-year-old daughter Beatrice. The former model also claimed she had little money to pay for security, and was furious that Paul refused to foot the bill.Labels: DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY, POLICE

Heather Mills is set to appear on US TV talent show 'Dancing With The Stars'. Heather, who had her left leg amputated below the knee after being hit by a motorbike in 1993, will be learning to salsa and cha-cha later this year and plans to donate her appearance fee to animal charity Viva. A source told Britain's Daily Express newspaper: "Some may think this is a surprising way for Heather to raise her profile in the US but she has never been stifled by her disability."She is a great skier and a superb dancer."The 39-year-old former model has always promoted an active life for amputees and memorably removed her prosthetic leg before showing it to talk show host Larry King during an interview in 2002.The source added: "Heather is keen to build a TV career in the US. The fact she apparently feels she can do the show despite her false leg is bound to create sympathy and headlines."Meanwhile, her estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney is also set to appear on a hit US TV show. The Beatles legend has reportedly been approached by 'American Idol' bossesto appear as a guest judge on the talent show.Last week, it was reported Paul had offered Heather a $50 million divorce settlement. The 64-year-old - worth an estimated Billion - is said to have instructed lawyers to make the offer in a bid to avoid a public court battle.Labels: AMERICAN IDOL, HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY
Sir Paul McCartney has offered Heather Mills a $55 million divorce settlement, it has been reported. The former Beatle - worth around a Billion - instructed lawyers to make the offer following days of "intense and heightened" talks. This is said to be the first time Paul, eager to avoid a public court battle, has agreed to open negotiations. A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "This is the closest we have been to an arrangement. Paul is absolutely determined to keep his private life hidden from public scrutiny."The divorce has now been dragging on for nine months. There is war weariness creeping in. Lawyers have been in feverish discussions for the past ten days, but isn't simply a matter of him making an offer and it being accepted."Paul, 64, reportedly sanctioned the offer after Heather's sister Fiona accused him of putting his three-year-old daughter Beatrice at risk by refusing to pay for security for Heather. The source added: "They are almost there. The channels of communication have opened up. It's the first time a deal has been mentioned and both sides hope a settlement will be reached."Unless there is a major hiccup, they will not be going to court."Terms will be drawn up by Anthony Julius and Fiona Shackleton - the same lawyers who dealt with Prince Charles and Princess Diana's divorce - and they are hoping to settle the deal within a month. Julius - Heather's lawyer - and Paul's representative have so far declined to comment. Last month, it was reported Heather and Paul - who were married for four years - had reached an out of court settlement worth $64 million. However, legal firm Mishcon de Reya, who represent Heather, quickly issued a statement denying Paul had made an offer.Labels: BEATLES, DIVORCE, HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY
Sir Paul McCartney has not reached a divorce settlement with estranged wife Heather Mills, her lawyers have claimed. It was reported in media outlets yesterday that the former model had accepted a 60 million pay-off from the Beatles legend in order to keep details of their split out of court and away from the public eye. Legal firm Mishcon de Reya, who are representing Heather, has now issued a statement denying their client has accepted the offer and insist Paul, 64,has not even made an offer to Heather, 39. A spokeswoman said: "No offer has been made what so ever at any time."The now discredited settlement reportedly included Heather receiving the 8 million mansion in St John's Wood, London, the couple shared and Paul's 12 million Beverly Hills property. The estranged couple, who have a three-year-old daughter, Beatrice, are due in court next month to resolve a row over security. Heather insists she is entitled to a professional bodyguard after receiving death threats, but Paul is refusing to pay for one.Labels: HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY
Sir Paul McCartney has agreed to pay estranged wife Heather Mills' $4000.-a-week rent on her new home. The 64-year-old Beatles legend gave in to the former model's demands that he cover the cost of her home in London's Regent Park, where she will live with their three-year-old daughter Beatrice. The rent agreement, which according to one friend, was "negotiated in court", will remain in place until a formal divorce settlement is reached. Heather's friend added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Heather says Paul has to pay for their accommodation. She thinks the divorce will be settled within the year."Heather, 39, is reportedly still fuming over the musician's refusal to reinstate her bodyguards following death threats. Another friend of the former model said: "She is absolutely furious and, for her, it's the final straw. She said she never, ever wants anything to do with him again."When is comes to handing Beatrice over, the nanny or someone else will take care of that."Meanwhile, Paul and Heather are allegedly set to battle it out on rival TV talent shows in the US. Paul has been invited to appear as a guest judge on 'American Idol', while Heather is hoping to take part in 'Dancing With The Stars'. The talented singer is rumoured to have been offered $400.000 for just one episode of the hit show. A friend said: "It would put him back on the box in the US."Labels: HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY
Heather Mills is launching her own health and beauty website. The 38-year-old former model - who is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney - plans to offer fitness tips, advice on how to live a "green" lifestyle and vegan recipes on her new site called I Do Care, to be launched later this year. Heather's latest career move has been interpreted as an attempt to emulate the work of Sir Paul's late first wife, Linda, who was an ardent animal rights campaigner and who launched her own range of vegetarian meals. Heather's decision is likely to infuriate the 64-year-old Paul's fashion designer daughter Stella McCartney, who has made no secret of her dislike for her stepmother. Heather is set to damage relations with her estranged step daughter further with her plans to launch her own range of beauty products, which will see her in direct competition with Stella's own perfume line. A source said: "Heather and Stella have always disliked each other and it's her chance to get back at her step daughter."Labels: HEATHER MILLS, PAUL MCCARTNEY

Heather Mills
Sir Paul McCartney's estranged wife Heather Mills will be questioned by police after allegedly kicking a woman in a London coffee shop when she spotted her taking photos with her cell phone. Mills, who is preparing for her divorce battle from the Beatle, reportedly was furious when Emma Levy took out her cell phone in a Starbucks and tried to take a photo of her with a male friend. Levy says, "She jumped up, grabbed me by the throat and pushed me towards the door. She lashed out with her left leg, kicking me in the bum. (You are lucky she didn't take off her right leg and hit you on the head) I have a big bruise." A spokesman for Mills confirms the incident, but adds the former model only reacted violently because she feared Levy was a reporter. He says, "She was taking private notes from a lawyer when a woman tried to take her picture."Heather suspected she was a journalist. She even admitted she was trying to make some money out of her. "Heather did kick her up the backside -- all the staff and customers started clapping
